Chapter detail

The work, in operator terms.

Concord

Chief Marketing Officer

Dec 2025 – Present

Recruited by GTCR-backed Concord, managing more than $60B in assets under administration, to build the marketing function from the ground up. Own brand, demand, sales enablement, and revenue operations. Partner directly to the CEO, CRO, and Managing Directors across Consumer, Commercial, and Capital Markets.

  • Brand launch. Built and launched the Concord brand at concordfinance.com in February 2026, replacing a four-product legacy stack (InterLink, TrueBI, C2, ConcordPay) with a unified platform architecture (ConcordLink) and the positioning line “The hub for credit administration. From investor to borrower.” Led positioning, messaging, visual system, website, and sales enablement for the launch.
  • M&A integration. Led integration of three acquisitions under the Concord brand: Orion First (commercial servicing), Finley Technologies (capital markets software, closed Q1 2026), and ACC / Automotive Credit Corporation (consumer auto, closed Q1 2026). Owned the GTM narrative, customer communications, digital asset migration, and sales collateral for each.
  • Team building from zero. Hired VP Revenue Operations, Director of Marketing, Director of Sales and Marketing Operations, two BDRs, a content writer, and a presentation designer. Designed and built the RevOps function, covering bookings definition, forecasting methodology, compensation crediting, territory design, and lead routing.
  • Outbound demand engine. Stood up Apollo.io with Bombora intent topics across five buyer personas, multi-touch sequences tied to conference targets, LinkedIn Sales Navigator for ABM across a concentrated TAM of 250 to 500 accounts, and an account tiering framework (Fit and Engagement scores) feeding HubSpot.
  • RevOps infrastructure. Completed the Salesforce-to-HubSpot CRM migration. Built a marketing dashboard with FY scorecard tracking and pipeline-influenced ROI modeling, reported monthly to the GTCR board.
  • Sales enablement. Built the sales enablement library: capabilities deck, proposal templates (Primary Servicing, Backup Servicing, Capital Markets), asset class one-sheeters across 14 specialty finance verticals, competitor battle cards (16 companies across four segments), and the Client Content Approval Policy.
  • Conference and PR strategy. Led strategy across SFVegas, DealCatalyst PCDL, and ELFA Investors, with a cost-per-meeting measurement framework and a T-30 go/no-go gate. Ran journalist outreach resulting in PitchBook LCD coverage.

Dave Bowen

SVP, Verizon

I build the brand, pipeline, and ops layer that compounds. My path has crossed demand, sales leadership, brand, and general management. I am as comfortable running a sales team as I am leading a rebrand, and in B2B today the best CMOs do both.

I care about trust, performance, integration, controls, and long-term reliability. The visible work matters. So does the invisible scaffolding underneath it.
